FICHA 19- CUARTO CURSO

A continuación tenéis un texto en inglés y en español. No tenéis que copiarlo, solamente leerlo para poder hacer los ejercicios. Seguimos trabajando contenidos de la PREHISTORIA.

1.- PREHISTORY. PREHISTORIA.

Prehistory is the longest period in human history. It extends from the appearance of the first human beings to the invention of writing(between 2 million years BC and 3500 years BC). Prehistory is divided into three periods. La Prehistoria es el período más largo de la historia humana. Se extiende desde la aparición de los primeros humanos hasta la invención de la escritura (entre dos millones antes de Cristo y 3500 años antes de Cristo). La Prehistoria está dividida en tres períodos.

1.- PALAEOLITHIC AGE OR OLD STONE AGE(PALEOLÍTICO O PIEDRA ANTIGUA). It began with the appearance of our first hominids, about 2 million years ago. It was the longest phase of human history. Palaeolithic people were generally nomadic hunters and gatherers. They lived in caves, used fire, made stone tools and painted in the cave.

PALEOLÍTICO O EDAD DE PIEDRA ANTIGUA: Empezó con la aparición de los primeros hombres, hace acerca de 2 millones de años. Es el período más largo de la historia. La gente era cazadora y recolectora. Vivían en cuevas, usaban el fuego, herramientas de piedra y pintaban en las cuevas. 

2.- THE NEOLITHIC OR NEW STONE AGE(NEOLÍTICO O EDAD DE PIEDRA NUEVA) began when the agriculture is discovered about 9000 Before Christ. In this period, groups of human beings started to live in settled villages. They practised agriculture, domesticated animals and invented pottery and textiles.

NEOLÍTICO O EDAD DE PIEDRA NUEVA empezó cuando se descubrió la agricultura sobre 9.000 años antes de Cristo.En este período, grupos de seres humanos empezaron a vivir en pueblos. Practicaban la a agricultura, animales domésticos, cerámica y telas.

3.- THE AGE OF METALS began when human beings learned to use metals to make objects(5.000 years BC) mainly copper, bronze and iron. They built monuments with big blocks of Stone, called menhirs, dolmemns and Stone circles. 

LA EDAD DE LOS METALES empezó cuando los seres humanos aprendieron a usar objetos sobre el año 5.000 años antes de Cristo. Los metales principalmente eran cobre, bronce y hierro. Construyeron monumentos con grandes bloques de piedra, llamados menhires, dólmenes y piedras redondas.
